In the House- of Representatives to-day the Prime Minister read a cablegram from the High Commissioner stating that the New Zealand apples and pears exhibited at the Olympic Show were in excellent condition and took prizes. Mr Massey added vim result was very satisfactory, and snoulcl popularise New Zealand.fruit in tho Home market.
