THE CHRISTCHURCH CASKS. TWO APPEALS LODGED. Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, July 10. It is authoritatively stated that the Government has appealed against the Magistrate's decision in the cases relating to the sales of alarm clocks on a, point of law, and has asked the Magistrate, Mr McCarthy. t-> state a ease. In connection with the recent profiteering case, the D.I.C. has given notice of appeal against the Magistrate's decision convicting them of selling a child's overcoat at an unreasonably high price.
