AUSTRALIAN SHEEP SALES.
STRONG DEMAND FOR MERINOS.
SYDNEY, July 8. At the sheep sales merinos maintained a strong demand and good prices. South African buyers secured a considerable number. Two Boonoko rams brought bOO and 525 guineas. Mr N. Rutherford secured a Koonoona ram for 200 guineas. Air G. R. Rutherford paid 75 and 125 guineas for two from the same flock'. An Austin Wanganolla stud rum was sold to a South Australian buyer for 700 guineas. —(Press Assoc;;:lion).
