Maesoy, Minister of Railways: “With-reference to your letter of 12th May, in regard to tho question of improvements in the accommodation at Rangiotu, I have the honour to inform you that in accordance with your suggestion an oflicer of the Department visited Rangiotu and met representatives of the settlers and heard their views. It is, however, found that tho present station site is not suitable, and it is proposed to remove the station as soon as the more urgent requirements have been met and funds are available. The work proposed to be carried out will cost approximately £6OOO, and will provide for better accommodation for stock and other purposes.
