A WELSH SENSATION. LONDON, June 16. •" A remarkable murder mystery has d«' \<;lop?'d as the r> suit of the exhumation of the body of Mrs Mabel Greenwood, who • hod in June of .last year. Deceased was 'ho wife of Mr Harold Greenwood, a solicitor of Kidwelly, Wales, and a sister of Sir T. Vansittart Bowater, who was Lord Mayor of London in 1913-14. The evidence at the inquest showed arsenic in the body, though a doctor, at the timo of death, certified heart disease as the cause.

A sensation was caused when a chomist gave evidence that the husband had purchased two quarto of weedicide in 1917. containing thirty-six per cent, of arsonious oxide. .

Tho coroner summoned the husband to give ovidence, and ns ithere was. no rosporise, Greenwood wa« arrested and charged with murder. There was no suggestion of foul plav nt the timo of death, but the husband in September unexpectedly married a Miss Jones. Gos«ip 'started in the village, owing to the short time that the wife has boon devid, and culminated in a genera] demand for exhumation of Mrs Greenwood's body.
