FASHION FADS.
RETURN OF THE CRINOLINE. GIRLS’ LATEST EVENING GOWNS. LONDON, Jan. 23. West End dressmakers assert that the return of the crinoline is finally decreed, at least for girls’ evening wear. Big Parisian houses are pushing it, and London designers are offering ballroom specimens, described as “bewitching,” composed of a flowered net of various shades of pink, with rosebuds catching up the draperies. Modistes advise Junoesque matrons to adhere to the present straight-line fashions.
