I HEREBY notify that in .accordance with Section 10 of “The Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913,” and under ‘•The Local Elections and Polls Act, 1908,” separate polls will be taken on WEDNESDAY, the 28th day of January. 1920, to decide whether the following Special Loans shall he carried: — -1. A loan of £39,500 for the following ■ purposes: £IO,OOO of such loan to ho used in the construction of Concrete Watertables. £20,000 to h5 applied for the lay- ‘ ing down of roadways in tarred macadam or other process, and purchase of.plant and equipment if required. £5,000, to he used in the construction or reinstatement of bridges in concrete where necessary. £4,000 to he used in the construction and formation of new footways and repairs to existing footways where necessary. £SOO to he used in the construction and formation of cycle tracks where

A loan of £10,475 for the following purposes £3,000 of such loan to be used in straightening, widening and deepening the Eawau Drain from Bangitiker street, north-east to- Borough boundary. £15,475 to be used in carrying out a storm-water scheme and the construction of storm-water conduits where necessary. £I,OOO to he used in straightening, widening and deepening the Hok'o- -• v whitn Lagoons where necessary! 5.
