A THREATENED STRIKE.
By Electric Telegraph.— Australian-New Zealand Cable Association. Received December 18. 9.60 a.m. SYDNEY, Deo. 18. The marine cooks, butcliersand bakers on Australian articles have decided to strike unless granted increased wages.
THE BREWERS’ DISPUTE.
Australian-New Zealand Cable Association, Received December 18. 9.50 a.m. SYDNEY, Dec. 38. The breweries are now working at their full capacity with free labour. There is every indication! that the men’s union will declare the strike off.
AMERICAN COAL STRIKE.
FUEL RESTRICTIONS RESCINDED,
AustraliamNow Zealand Cable Association. Received December 18, 8.55 a.m. WASHINGTON, Doc. 17. The fuel restrictions imposed during the coal strike have been rescinded. Foreign vessels will be allowed to coal at American ports.
