PROHIBITIONIST’S OPINION.

The prohibition offices in Palmerston North were' visited by a reporter shortly after one o’clock this afternoon. Rev. Duncumb, local area organiser, said that on latest telegraphic advice from Rev. Gray, in Wellington, ho could say that tho win for prohibition was assured although complete results were not obtainable. Eight returns were still to come in, including the absent voters and BGO so’diers,, 'Exclusive of these prohobition hold a majority of 5860. Allow, ing a wide margin Rev ; Gray estimated that 1200 votes might be lost - to the majority.
