CAMPBELL STREET SCHOOL.

INCREASED GRANT OBTAINED.

The tondors received for the erection of the infant school at Campbell street was considerably in excess of the amount allocated "by the Government. The Mayor, Mr J. A. Nash, who has interested himself so much in the matter, has received tho following telegram from thto Minister of Education (Sir F. D. Bell): "The amount of the grant previously approved for the erection of the new infant school at Campbell street lias now been increased by £3355, and the Board is being authorised to accept tho lowest tender for the work."
