TO-MORROW'S POLL.
Arrangements have now been completed by the various returning officers for the electoral and licensing polls to-morrow. In Palmerston and other town districts the polling hours will be between 9 a.m. and 7 p.m., while in tho country districts the polling hours will bo from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Up to 10 o'clock this morning 350 absent voters' permits had been issued for the Palmerston electorate by Mr C. E. Shortt (returning officer) and it was expected that the number would be at least 4QC by the close of the day. The average number of such permits issued during the post three dayß has been 50 each day, besides hundreds from other districts. T.wo speciul booths will be provided at the Empire Hall, the principal polling booth," for thoso with absent voters' permits and those voting by declaration. ■ "
