ACCIDENT TO THE KARORI.
(Peb Phess Association.) DUNEDIN. Nov. 19. At high water the Karori’s decks are about lour feel under water. It is nowthought that the hull has been ripped open for a considerable distance from the forepeak to ttie engine room. The Tcrawliiri is expected to-morrow night with a powerful pumping plant.
WATERS!DERS’ DEMAND FOR SHIFTING COAL. DUNEDIN, Nov, 20. ■ The Waterside Workers’ Union derided at a stop work meeting 1 to, ask for £3 jut man per shift of eight hours for salvaging the Karori’s coal cargo.
