RESTIVE SEAMEN.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright Australian-New Zealand Cable Association, SYDNEY, Nov. 19. The seamen are not unanimous on the question of striking. Some crews have not given 24 hours’ notice, and one crew lias withdrawn the notice. The prospects of a settlement are more hopeful. Owners ara endeavouring to arrange a conference, and it is hoped in this way to avoid a complete stoppage. '
