Administrator of the late German East 'Africa colony, leaves shortly for Dar-es-Salaam, which will be the headquarters of the Government. All is going smoothly. The old German native army baa melted away, and the Askaria have returned to their villages. Onlv a few German .settlers are left, the majority having been repatriated. The natives have taken kmdlv to the new rulers, and the damaged railways have been repaired.
