DOMINION LAND LAWS.

COMING CONFERENCE.

(PhF PRKRS ASEOOIAfION.) WELLINGTON, April 22. Tho Minister of Lands has convened a conference of Commissioners of Crown Lands to meet at Wellington.on April 28, to discuss the general administration of tho land laws of the country by land boards. One of the objects of the conference is to. secure a uniformity in the plan of administration. Amongst matters to be discussed will be the settlement of discharged soldiers on the land, 1 and the advisability of an amendment or improvement of the* law. The Minister has asked the boards to send in suggestions and remits dealing with questions affecting their districts.
