j LONDON, April 17. A shooting affray occurred in tho East End of London. Six coloured men had to bo taken to the hospital. Three were seriously injured, one white man was stabbod, and a policeman injured. Four arrests have been-made.

LONDON, April 17,

The East End affray aroso in a coffee shop. A coloured man.fired a revolver at a soldier during a quarrel. The crowd, who rosent the blacks' relations with white girls, besieged the shop for two hours. They tore down shutters and attempted to set fire to tho buil'ding. Finally, they forced an entrance and roughly handled tho blacks, whom the police rescued.
