A number rtf games wore played yesterday afternoon in connection with the North Island. croquet championship gathering which is being played at Palmerston North. .Results:— Championship doubles. —2nd round: Mrs Murray-Aynsley and Miss Gerard beat Mrs Watt and Mrs Hamilton by 8; Mrs Baxter and Miss Laurenson beat Mrs Bigg and Mrs Fuller by 8. Third round: Mrs Murray-Aynsley and Miss Gerard boat Mrs Sedgwick and Mrs Rhodes Williams by 10. Championship singles.—Mrs A\ ilson beat Mrs Sedgwick by 8, Mrs Baxter beat Mrs Rhodes Williams by 17, Mrs G Richardson beat Mrs Beamish by 16; Mrs Innes beat Mrs Henderson by 8 Mrs A. Gerard beat Miss C. Limbriclc by 8, Dr. Whitaker beat Mrs Hogan by 17. Handicap doubles. —Mrs Mcßae arm Mrs Bendall boat Mrs H. Seifert aim Mrs L.
