AUCKLAND’S SANITATION. NOT INCLUDED IN ORDER OK REFERENCE. (Fed Pbibb Association.) AUCKLAND, Fob. 21. It was stated at a City Council meeting that the order of reference of the Epidemic Commission in no way challenged the Council in regard to the city sanitation, and that no evidence was to bo taken on the Minister’s accusation regarding alleged slums, though the Council had asked for the Commission to refute the Hon. G. W. Russell’s statements. The Mayor said the chairman hud ruled that the order of reference did nor- deal with this aspect.
