milE Palmerston X, brass hand was .L not in cflicial attendance at the railway station to welcome the arrival of the Tribe of Red Indian? recently landed in New Zealand from the shores of America, but a right royal welcome was extended to them by Chief K. S' Pees, who sallied forth from the “Wigwam” with his supporting Indian braves and attendants in wooden chariots drawn by fiery mustangs. The manner in which the Chief Mustang Brave and his attendant braves handled j these mustangs was worthy of note, and was fully appreciated by the Thirty ]919 Red Indians, who were ! driven from the station to the Indian Wigwam in such Royal Stylo. On arrival at the Wigwam, warm expressions of welcome were given by Chief Pees and the Permanent Braves of the Palmerston Wigwam, but expressions of surprise and wonder were made by the newly arrived Red Indians that their previous brothers, numbering 6c, wiio arrived in October last, had all departed. This was easily explained by Chief Pees that the demand for Rod Indians by the motor cyclists of this district had been so great owing to the, exclusive features of spring frame, comfort and durability, unequalled by any other make, that each Red Indian bad quickly found a welcome homo and master. 30 RED INDIANS HIST ARRIVED.
