A motor car containing Mr Vivian Cox, an insurance representative, and Mr Fancourt, a Main Body returned soldier, erstwhile employed by Sargood, Son and Fwen, while proceeding from Napier to Cram thorpo, overturned at Harper’s comer, pinning Fancourt underneath and killing him. Cox was uninjured. CHRISTCHURCH, Jan. 18. Obituary: Miss Elizabeth Angus Thacker, aged 68. Deceased was a sister of Dr. Thacker, M.P., and was tlm first white child born hero alter the arrival of the Canterbury Pilgrims.
