COTTON STRIKE SETTLED.

“As the result of a conference between Mr Lloyd George and the representatives of the cotton spinners, a basis of settlement of the strike has been reached. The Court of Arbitration awarded the Lancashire weavers a 50 per cent, increase on the standard price.
