A ROMANCE OF “ROMANCE"
Out of “Romance,” which has been running-in London for three years, a real romance has sprung. Miss Lon; Keane, the American actress, who plays the part of La 1 Cavallini, has just mar • vied her leading man, Mr Basil Sydney., who took the part of the Vicar ol St Giles’ when Owen Mares left the companv hist duly. “Neither ol us had ever seen the other be loro then, ( said Miss Keane to an interviewer. “Its not at all an easy thing to talk about the love affair of myself—ever so diner(Mil, really, from the love ol (■•iviillmi which one displays nightly in Ihe theatre. 1 won’t even tell yon u here w were married. All that I can say islh-M marriage was by special license, am 1 that I don't think 1. have ever been happier in my art than when I have been acting with my husband. Mrs Sydney, it may ho added, has achieved such success in “Romance” that there can he no doubt she is a wealthy woman.
