POHANGINA.

The funeral of the late Mr Titos. Wood, who died on Friday, took place at Poll angina cemetery on Sunday, September 8. The service at the graveside was conducted by Rev. Neal, of Ashhurst. Thenwas a large attendance of tin; public and friends of the deceased. The late Mr Wood wti.s born at Macelcsfied, in Cheshire, in 1854, ami came out to the Ecilding district wivii his wife in 1879. He was in Waverley for 17 years, and Rangiotu six years. The deceased enjoyed 40 years of a peaceful and happy life, leaving a widow and one son to mourn their loss. Our hearts' go out to his widow in her bereavement.
