MEETINGS AND ENTERTAINMENTS.

A splendid programme is promised for St. Paid'-t anniversary social, which is to be held in the Empire Hall tq-niorrow evening. A very successful rehearsal was held last flight, every item going well. After the concert* the annual prize-giving will he held. A missionary sale is announced to be held at All Saints' Schoolroom to-morrow, commencing at 2 o'clock. The sale will be continued to 5 p.m., and will be resumed in the evening from 7 to 10 o'clock. The usual stalls, plain and fancy-work, produce, sweets, etc., will form a feature of the function, and hoopla, bran tub, etc., 1 are included in the competition*.
