Zionist organisations have addressed telegrams to the British Government for the letter from Hon. A J. Balfour, addressed to Lord Rothschild, favouring the establishment of a national home for Jews in Palestine, while preserving- the political status tho Jews enjoy in other countries. fA cable a few days ago announced th;\t Hon. A. J. Balfour, when in Ottawa, agreed, on behalf of Great Britain, to create Palestine an autonomous Jewish State under the protection of the Allies.!
