King George lias approved the granting ti permission to officers and men ol the British forces to wear on their uniforms decorations and ribands given by tho United States for war service. Sixty-one per cent of the first unit of die American legion in the Canadian army hold American decorations or ribands for service in Iho Spanish war or in the Boxer uprising. Many of the men in the later units also nave decorations.
