A general strike is proclaimed, including tho railway men. KERENSKY FORCES RETIRE. LONDON, Nov. 17. Reuter’s correspondent at Pctrograd says Kerensky’s forces have retired in the direction of Pavlovsk and Gatchina. The Maximalists announce their occupation of Tsarskoo Solo, and claim 1500 Cossack casualties in the fighting near Alexandrovsky station. Tho railway union has initiated negotiations with tho view to tho formation of a Government comprising all the Sociaist parties. The message which is dated the 13th states that Tsarskoc Solo has changed hands twice since tho 11th. Kerensky first occupied it and approached within live miles of Pctrograd. Afterwards tho Maximalists with superior forces drove them back. Pending negotiations, which arc proceeding, the railway strike has been suspended. The latest reports from Moscow show that there was much rioting and bloodshed. Two thousand were killed. The promises occupied by a cadet corps were invaded and many slain.
