Tim reception to returned soldiers at tli Empire Hall to-morrow evening will be o: a splendid scale. The Palmerston ISort Brass Band, the Awapum Pipe Band (l> kind permission of Major Onbitcs), and M E Smith’s orchestra have generously coi sented to lie in attendance. Songs, pair otic airs and dances will till up an eujoj able evening. The menu will consist c ham sandwiches, fruit salad and mean trifle, etc. Every returned soldier is cord ally invited.
