It tenders'ita heartfelt thanks to all the memhers of the Cabinet, and members of the House of Parliament who worked for the Bill, and to those who helped them I" carry, by so large a majority, a valuable and much-needed contribution to war economy and efficiency. It trusts the Government will so administer the law as to close the wide' opening for evasion which is offered by the new clause authorising the sale of liquor at meals until t) o'clock.
