The prices paid for butter fat during tho season were:—August, 1916, Is oil per lb.; September, 1916, Is 6d per lb.; October, 1916. to April. 1917. Is 5d per lb. ; May, 1917. to July, IIH7, Is Gd, the average price boing equal to Is 5.1481 d per lb., the final payment of one penny three farthings per lb. increasing the total to Is 6.8931(1, exclusive of twopence per lb. on account ot casein front September, 1916, to vnd of January, 1917, and twopence halfpenny from Ist February, 1917, to the end of May, 1917. The retiring directors are M-essrs John Print and (.!. M. Kanson, who offer themselves for re-elec-tion. During the year we sustained the loss of Mr M. Pcdcrscn, who had been a director for five years, tie was always a regular attendant at Board meetings, and always willing to place his service-: at tho disposal of the Hoard for llie good of the Company. Mr J. B. Llobertson having left the district resigned his position on the board. He had been a member., sine the incorporation ol the company, 'hid chairman for nine years. Being a thorough helievcr in co-opera-tion he worked '.hard to make the company a success,. and his abilities and genial presence, will be greatly missed at our me.ctin'gs.
