EARTHQUAKE AT SAMOA.
(P*r Phebb Abbooiation.) SUVA, Julv 10. An earthquake and tidal wave lias occurred in the Samoa group. It is the severisto.n record the group has experienced. The earthquake was severely felt in Uaupai Three tidal wave*, fourteen feet high visited the islam:, but no material damage was occasioned. Keppel Island was the worst sufferer. Many native houses were destroyed and a concrete wharf carried awav. There were no fatalities The shock wan Ml .it Niaufoo.
