At the fat stock sale at_ the Winter Show there was strong competition between freezing buveer.s and butchers. - The bulk of tho orrery went for export, Sims and Cooper, Armour and Co., and Borthwick'e being the- principal buyers. Prize cattle brought £25 to £3O, wethers 50s to £7. and - lambs 50s to 90s.
