The death is announced by cable of Dr Carr, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Mel bourne.

Private Patrick Joseph Joyce, of E Com pany, 27th Reinforcements, died at Feather ston Miiitaiy Hospital on Saturday morn ing, from ceiebro-spinal meningitis.
