YOGNG IN "('AMILLE.'’ With tlie exception of perhaps Madame 1 Petrova there is no more popular trage- i clieiine or cinoiional actress than the beautiful and talented Clara Kimball Young, whose popularity has been won by her ability to interpret the various roles in which she has appeared. Young lias made in acting the title role of the great stage play, ■‘Cainilh-." Ihis aa. stage play j has' always been iiopular, but as a picture j jiroduction it is inliinlcly better, anil with j such a heroine it is hard to conceive ol I anything belter. Ibe set-lies arc well produced, as was, to be expect-d when an artist like Albert ('apellatn. the mmons producer of Les Mise.rables and othin-s, took ihe scenes in hand. amide belongs To that class which preys upon men: she markets her charms to Count de tarvide. Though lie supplies her with plenty of money, she does not hive him. Her affections are set upon Arm a ml. _ a young lawyer from the country, who reciprocities her love, but their happiness is short-lived, for Armand’s father demands that ho abandon Camille. An exciting duel takes place between Armund and the Count in which Hie ( omit is wounded, 'which eventually reconciles the lovers. Ihe title vole is played by Mbs I bira Kimball Young, and it gives this popular young actress an opportunity to portray a part in which her many admirers will delight in seeing her. There are many spectacular and emotional scenes in < amide, the strongest of those being a most, ic duel between Hie rival lovers. ll.e Itev o’ Hearts'’ provided some thrills and was greeted with a round ol applause. Ihe other pictures included a coloured I ttlho "Tepita." the latest Eclair .1 om in I and a brisk comedy burlesquing Hie btc ol a firemtin. The musical accompaniment to this excellent programme was a neat t" linen to.
