Gaplain Edward Strom, muster of the scow Bee. was before the Nautical Court to show cause why his certificate shouhl not he euncelled or .suspended for misconduct, namely drunkenness. Evidence was given that while the scow was at liiamcs Strom came to Auckland and went on a drinking' hour, the scow meanlime being practically abandoned at J hames, where the harbourmaster authorised the crow to obtain meals at a local hotel. 1 he Court ordered Strom's eerlilleiite jo he suspended for three months, he to pay the costs of the enquiry.
