GERMAN WEDGE ON RIGA FRONT. Received March 27, 8.40 a.m. LONDON, March 26. Tho Morning Post’s Petrograd correspondent says the Germans arc busily fortifying Viina, which they recognise to bo the objective of Russia’s blow. Anglo-French prisoners are employed there. The fighting is fiercest between Riga and Smorgon, where the Germans aro preparing to force a wedge across the Dwina. The Russians anticipated the completion of tho German preparations. The Russians have enormously increased their guns and ammunition.

PETROGRAD, Alarch 25. Reports state that the Kaiser is going to Vilna.
