KOSY PICTURE THEATRE
(Continuous). THE NEW PROGRAMME. The fine Chaplin comedy drama entitled "Charlie the Tramp" proved on irresistible attraction at the Kosy Theatre last week, and acceding to a very general desire the management have secured permission to include the film in the new series that will make its appearance to-day. f In addition a full programme of star pictures and supports will be submitted. A beautiful production entitled "The Right of Hearts" heads the new series. It is the work pf a Norwegian company, and the scones, taken in Norway, include some glorious mountain scenery with some excellent snow scenes. The story rovolvivt round tho doings of the Countess Elsie, who is promised in marriage lo Karl Rogers, but is in love with an actor in a cinematography company, which visits tho district in which she Jives to secure some mountain pictures. Elsie disguised as a peasant girl is engaged as a "sniper,"' and falls in love with Charles Brant, the star actor and producer. They are having a happy time together in the mountains when Elsie is recalled by her father who pleads with her to keep her engagement. Elsie goes back to her home and the dnfe of the marriage is announced in the newspaper which Brant reads, and he rushes off to prevent it if possible. He arrives in time to show the "right of hearts" to love one another instead of so many merely arranged marriages Amongst other pictures to be shown are "The Royal Danish Navy" (topical). "Sentimental Sophie" (comedy), "Goat Tails" (comedy) and a most interesting industrial film, "Making Shells and Shrapnel."
