He wad a prominent member of our local hockey club. Mr P. Lazenby, one of our old settlors, has disposed of his farm and is leaving for the Waikato district. His son, Master 0. Lazenby, of the local post office, has been transferred to the Rotorua office. There are over 40 subscribers to our Tile phone Exchange. The forthcoming Bulb Show for the Champion Ros<- Bowl promise-; to lie a line one. The secretary (Mr Sinclair) lias everything well in hand. The judges, and stewards have Wen appointed. Mr C. Massey, of YVanganui, who was the successful applicant for the secretaryship of the Gien Oroua Dairy Co.-Op. (vice Mr H. R. Russell, resigned) took up his duties laot week. Mrs A.
