CONCESSIONS TO BULGARIA
THE ALLIES' PROPOSALS. (Independent Cable Association.) VANCOUVER. Aug. 24. A Rome despatch says that the Entente Powers, •arWixling- to the positive statement of the Solia correspondent of the Giornale d'ltalia, have offered Bulgaria, that part of Macedonia which was given to her by the Serbo-Bulgarian 1912 treaty, with the right of immediate occupation. The message adds that Greece will yield to Bulgaria the city of Kavala, and the districts of Kavala and Seres, with the right :>f immediate occupation. Bulgaria is to renounce for ever all pretences to Salonika, Vodina, and Uskub, and promises also to declare war immediately upon Turkey, aided by funds from the four Allies. The despatches declare that Bulgaria will receive further territorial concessions from Turkey. Advices from London state that credence is given to the Rome despatches that Greece and Serbia have accepted the Entente proposals, and will soon be at war with Germany. Austria, and Turkey. Solia messages state that as partial recompense, it. is said that Serbia and Greece will divide Albania, and Italy will retain Valona, which she occupied last year. The rejection of General Jecoif as the' Bulgarian War Minister is reported to bo an indication of early preparations.
