STOCK MARKET. Gordon's weekly roix>rt.— During the past wivk «c lipid our u«uul yard pales at Hulls, liunterville, Rongotea. and Feilding, and a horse sale :i f Foilding. At all stock sales the demand for sheep was keen, and we fold under the hammer the whole of our entries. At Bulls we submitted several good lines of ru|)e -lambs. which were keenly competed for, and prices at this sale were slightly lighter than at other cent res. In cattle we had a good yarding, consisting principally of fat and forward cows, which sold readily at late rates. At Liunterville we had a fair yarding in both sheep and cattle. Prices for sheep were in advance of last sale, all good lots of rape lambs being most sought after. The cattle market was fair for all classes, except uea tiers, which were neglected. At Ron go tea we had a good yarding of sheep consisting principally of store and stubble lambs, all lots selling at prices in excess of owners' reserves. We had a heavy yarding of cattle. Sound empty cows were in good demand, and prices were well maintained. Weaners and young heifers were neglected. At Feilding we had a small yarding of l>oth sheep and cattle. The sheep sale was animated, and prices all round was alxiut on a par with last sale, ex. cept for best lines of rape lambs, which were slightly lighter. The entry of cattle consisted mainly of store cows, for which there was a pood demand. Young steers also sold freely. At our horse sale we submitted 50 horses, mostly of light sorts. Bidding was dull and prices low.
