Some interesting facts regarding the Ifitiah troops in IndiaawSgiven -in a letter eoeivod by a local resident from a member of the Royal Horse Artillery stationed a Indit. The letter was posted on Augist 5 and bears a postcjipt to the effect hat the troops expected to leave for active tervioe at any moment. The artillery wero ilready mobilised and were awaiting orders o move to Egypt. It will be remembered hat a state of war between England and Germany came into being on August 5, onsequontly no time was lost by Earl Kitherier in preparing the Indian Forces for „ ervica out of India.
