An interesting arrival from Home bv the f'orinthic ihis week was Lieutenant W. A. Burn, of the Flving Corps. lieutenant Burn is the. only New Zealand soldier who lias learned the art of flying at. Alderohot and other military centres. He has just completed a two years' course. After reporting at headquarters Lieutenant Burn proceeds to Auckland, where he will probably take charge of the aeroplane "Britannia."
I "I picked up fifteen doren when in Belfast very cheap," writes our Home buyer of some linen orash cushion covers which arrived on Monday. They are 18in square with a 3J pleated frill in addition, so that the size is ample. Several design* of floral sprsys in colour*! silkette are worked on them. Only It 7d each, but worth Is 3d.
