SEARCH FOR LIONESS.
AUSTRALIAN INCIDENT A lioness is reported to hav« made it appearance at Watson's Greek, near Man ilia, New South Wales. A miner, woik ing on a tin lode at the foot of the hill* at Giant's Deo, states that he has upon different nights heard a peculiar crj, different from any made by animals or birds of the {district.
