SANSON-RONGOTEA METHODIST CIRCUIT.
The quarterly meeting of the.above circuit officers was held iiithe Sanson Church on Wednesday afternoon. The Rev. G. Frost presided, and there were representatives present from Sanson, Rongotea and Taikorea churches. Six new names were added to the members' roll, threo on transfer from Presbyterian churches, making a total of 164. and 34 junior members. The balance-sheet showed an income for the quarter of £35 2s 2d, and expenditure £72 17s, leaving a credit, balance to carry forward of £l2 5s 2d. In addition to the above. Mrs Harris's garden party realised £lB for the parsonage account, and the Rongotea Church anniversary £l2 6s for that trust. A resolution of appreciation of Rev. G. Frost's successful live years' work in the circuit was spoken to by tin circuit stewards, and placed on the minutes. Mr Frost heartily thanked the meeting for its loyal cooperation, and assured it of his regret at not being able to sei the new church erected at Sanson.
