HOW BENTON DIED. STAB WOUNDS INFERRED. (Bi Elicteic Teuobaph—Copt eight.) (Pkb Pbess Association.) Received March 24, Noon. NEW YORK, March 23. British Consul Percival reports that an investigation disclosed that Benton's death was not due to pistol shots. Mr Percival does not state the exact cause of death, but it is belioved he wishes to infer that Benton died of stab wounds. Benton ap peared before Villa unarmed.
