DURBAN. Nov. 18.
The majority of iho Indians at Kynoc's works have struck. A thousand dceertera from the Eiandslaagto collieries have arrived at Latiysmirh with their wives and families. The magistrate addressed them, but their attitude was sullen and truculent. Ultimately they promised to return if their fellow-workers were released from prison. A riot, however, occurred, bui was quelled. The authorities are now arming the police and enrolling an armed force of townsmen.
