Mackenzie, of Main strict east, advertises a pastry cook'© business for sale. John Cobbe's new spring catalogue, of 80 pages, is announced in cur advertising columns to-day. In this latest number, which is profusely illustrated, John Cobbe stales that his Mail Order Service an# the catalogue bridge the chasm between his store at Feuding and those who live at points remote from the greater markets and assortments: Through this service, using the catalogue as a medium from which to select the goods needed, customers purchase at satisfactory as if they stood before the counters. Those who need anything in (ho way of drapery, boots, or furnishings, are invited to send for one of these catalogues and compare prices. It is free for the asking and on receipt of a postcard; John Oobbe will send a copy to any, address in (he Dominion. The sheep-shearing classes in connect ion with the local Technical School will commence on Tuesday next. October 7th. Intending students are requested to communicate at once with the Director. The shearing shed js run on exactly the .same lines as the large sheds of the Dominion. Not only are machine and blade shearing taught, but also classing, baling, and pressing.
