In tho Federal House cf Representatives Mr Palmer charged ex-Premier Fisher and other members of the late Ministry with drawing travelling expenses whilo conductintr the party's political business. He declared that men in high places in the Government who used their power to put their hands into tho public treasury to enrich themselves were guilty of a worse offence than tho man who put his hands into his Blaster's till.

Messrs Tudor and Eraser warmly repudiated the charge and declared Ministers only drew travelling expenses when on public business.
