WELLINGTON, Sept. 3. The Prime Minister to-day prosentrcl to the House of Representatives a return of the sheep in tho Dominion up to April 30. 1913. This showa that as compared with 15)12 tho number ci sheep had increased by 441,657 throughout the Dominion. The totals are as follows: 1012. 1913. Totals ... 23,750,153 24.191.510 North Island net increase, 027.350. South Inland net decrease, 85,699. Dominion increase, 441,057.
The number of sheep in the Dominion is the second highest on record, being: beaten onlv by tho 24,269,620 recorded in 1909.
