HARRY THAW AND THE LAW.

The Premier ordered haste in the Thaw case in order to show that no objectionable delays will take place such as wctir in the United States legal administration. The Judge thereupon heard the new habeas corpus application privately, and afiribunoed he would give ni6 decision in a couple of days.
RELEASED AND REARRESTED. Received September. 4, 1.15 p.m. OTTAWA, Sept. 3. At Sherhrooko tho Supremo Court Judge granted a writ of habeas corpus releasing Harry Thaw, who was immediately taken into custody by tho immigration authorities. He' will undergo preliminary examination with a view to deportation.
